I very strongly want the graphic feature returned. I do not plan to update my other devices until this is returned. This is how I care for my home, know whether something has happened. I do not check every hour or minute, but can see the daily view to care for my location (motion, temp, etc.). (well, I guess it wasnt removed- just hard to find and must be scrolled). Agree that no functionality was added and app is worse. Preferred prior colors and views and was easier to use. I keep getting settings when I try to hit the piper icon. Devices had to be re-added. Why?

Hard to see red color icons not a good move. Too small. Not intuitive. I like the product, though.

Before the new design, I could easily see which icon to touch the arm and disarm. Now the sections of the circle are all gray and icons are way too tiny

This thing is great! Fisheye lens & no monthly fees. I hope they add the ability to record video constantly.

I love the App and my Piper system! I call it my PuppyCam! I travel a good bit and have three 4-legged kids back at the house! My Piper lets me make sure the pet sitter comes by and takes care of "the kids"! I found the voice feature to be great at letting me warn Crazy Mason not to eat my furniture...lol! The system was easy to install (I am not a real tech kind of person)! The App gives me easy access to the device and my home! Very cool!

I watch my dog most of the day and its great! I like how clear the camera is too!!

The Piper is a great product, beautifully designed, simple to set up, and simple to use. Unfortunately, I had to return mine because it lacks an “auto-reset” feature, i.e., once it’s been triggered and records a 35-second video clip it stops monitoring for motion until you’ve MANUALLY reset it from your iPhone. If you’re busy, don’t notice the alarm, and don’t reset Piper, you now have NO ALARM and no subsequent video clips if there’s new motion a few minutes later. I’ve suggested to Piper that they upgrade the software to allow the user to select an “auto-reset” feature. If they do that, I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Like it a lot. Love to be able to talk when seeing video. Easy to use.

This app has worked very well. I have the Piper NV. The only issue has been when the alarm is on the status may still say off even though the pic shows its on. Easy to use and great otherwise.

Piper is a DIY alternative to the traditional security systems out there. Great system for renters, apt/small home dwellers and those with family/kids or pets. I love the two-way audio function because it reminds me of a walkie talkie - be careful doing this to house sitters or others who dont know about your Piper because you may end up scaring someone! :) The sensors are a nice addition in order to keep an eye on your windows and doors but the camera can be used solo. Its also easy to use the app and you can set rules for notifications you want to receive. The Home Vitals tab is also very neat and allows you to gauge the motion/sound/humidity levels, etc. in your house. As for recommendations, Id like to be able to view video on my computer and record video whenever I choose - not just when a security event occurs. I see Piper as the little engine that could and I think this market is just starting to bloom. Its definitely a trendsetting product and Im glad its keeping an eye over our house.

Luckily the worst thing my piper camera has shown me is my son jumping on the couch! But knowing that I can just log in and see whats going on in my home at any time really gives me a real feel of security

New icon looks great guys! The app is very simple and serve its purpose flawlessly. Im able to view my room and even activate my Amazon echo by talking through the intercom to activate my lights (or I could just use the piper app). The future is crazy people. If you dont have a piper get one.

I like the app, and everything that it can do, it just seems to take a very long time to login, connect to the camera, or turn on any of the light switches. Sometimes Im sitting in the dark for about 45 seconds before the light switch kicks on.

The latest version seems to have fixed the problem of wifi access not connecting frequently. Its been running now for 5 days without any buffering issues and it loads much faster.

Ive had our Piper HD for a few weeks now, testing it in various rooms. I had high hopes for it as a Z-Wave hub for our new home in a few months. Well, its great when it works, which is almost never. I have strong wifi at home, with a range extender too. It seems to drop the wifi connection after a few minutes of connection, and WILL NOT RECONNECT! As much as I try, pushing the retry link, unplugging, etc. the wifi is stable, though AT&T is pretty lame, with drop outs frequent, but Piper should reconnect when its back on, right? It does not. I cant even find how to change which wifi it is connected to. That part is not very user friendly. The app is pretty good, just not good at controlling the connection. Seems easy enough, I cant understand why its not reconnecting. The app does give you easy access to recorded video. Trouble is that it is very slow to connect. Also, the fact that we cant see other reviews is bogus. I think Piper is not releasing them because they are so bad. Right Piper People?

It has great potential. But if anything triggers it, then you are going to miss all subsequent events until you manually re-arm/re-activate it. Lets say you want to see who came and went to your gate/house/cabin/store/whatever. First noise or movement that sets it off will make you miss all subsequent events until you manually reset it. Ive called them before and they said "we are considering this". They are nice people, but this is crazy! Like other reviewers sey they do freeze up regularly (maybe once every week or so). That I can even deal with. And if you have multiple pipers, you do not get addition protection, only the "main" piper triggers/records anything once and then it is done. All the other ones do nothing (except let you do a live view) but they are useless as an actual security feature. Maybe they are just trying to save on disc space for themselves and are too cheap to allow for the extra storage this would require. Then state that upfront and/or give options to purchase the required cloud space/or use our own. There are plenty of other options out on market until they hopefully address this main issue. So far its been over a year and they have not addressed it.

The app is great , so is the product and the service. They only need to make the app work on landscape mode. Also adjust the night vision mode so that it engages less.

Ive had piper since its release & it has probably saved me money in the long run. Unfortunately as of lately the app has had increasing difficulty connecting to the network on launch. Hopefully it isnt going away.

The system is working about half the time. Alarms are not reliable. We are on a 300mb/s super fast commercial internet connection. Would be nice to be able to download the videos from the device/cloud to my iPhone. Looking for a better solution now.

Why can I schedule my paper to go on at 11 PM and off at 6 AM every day? What is the so difficult about adding that? It only calls me anyway Which is what I wanted. come on! Fix this simple change. Its been a year!
