All that work, and no landscape mode, still cant zoom the house vitals, and they took away the 2 different levels arming (away and vacation). Still seems slow to load, especially when you forget to disarm the siren when coming home.

Update: live view is the grey banner with temp sensor reading in lower right. Love ITFF / dashboard is more intuitive minus the grey banner live remote view thing/ guessing others will have this pseudo complaint in 2.0.0 Removed Remote Live Viewing? Seriously only recorded alerts and no live viewing without an alert sensor trigger?

Updated today now my Piper wont connect. Need to fix ASAP!

I must admit, when I got my Piper NV last week and saw the app did not support iPhone 6s I was a little worried. Was I using an outdated company to protect my property? But seeing the new app made me breathe a sigh of relief. The new app is sharp and a lot cleaner. Connectivity to my Piper has also improved. Next on their list should be implementing 3D Touch support. It would be perfect to access your camera and arm/disarm the Piper straight from the home screen!

This review is specific to the app redesign, not the Piper product or its functionality which I love. The old saying goes, it it aint broke dont fix it.. Piper took an app that was easy to navigate and created a confusing hard to see app, using flat colors, size 6 fonts and impossibly to understand icons. specifically red and off reds and flat icons that require a microscope to decipher... A quarter of the home page is blank !? With a size 6 weather status...I see no other reason for this redesign.. Not to mention my Piper required a reset to reconnect to the new app. This app should have been rejected on the grounds of design (ok I know they dont do that)

Latest release removed battery indicator for wireless accessories. Cryptic new dashboard. The system is working about half the time. Alarms are not reliable.

Last update REMOVED one of the three modes (vacation mode).... Now its just away, home, and off.... Last update also removed night-mode in the app. What kind of company removes existing functionality?

Seems slower to load and Im having a lot more trouble connecting and even getting dropped.

Horrible update .... Want live video back .... If you want to check on your house or a loved one this is useless

Where are the household info graphs? Why dont you upgrade features instead of ruining a perfectly good GUI? You spend too much time on cosmetics and none on improving functionality.

Took me about 2 seconds to figure it out. Love the preview image on the home screen, love the intuitive straightforward design. My only complaint is the Home Vitals screen got smaller and still shows only the past 48 hours (zoom would be awesome here); and now it takes 2 taps to reach the Vitals instead of 1. Overall I love my Piper and the accessories I connected to it, so easy to set up and I use it daily!

Never will I upgrade and purchase any more units with the limited function of the updated app

Added no interesting functionality. What about interesting rule engine, video analysis, etc. And then took out one of the away modes, which I used extensively for notice when someone came home and not sound alarm. Why. Sad when people are excited about a new layout and not about functionality improvements. The product moved backwards. No longer recommended.

Piper NV is a great product, but the 2.0 app is a huge step backwards in usability! Where is vacation mode? Icons are unintelligible and fonts are too small. More clicks to access features. Why move the modes to the top where I cant reach them with my thumb? Very disappointing...

This recent update was past due. But why would they remove vacation mode?!? I used that all the time.

I can get used to the new app. I do think the off/disarm icons and indicators should be green to match the LED on the device.

Update makes it easier to get to individual device controls. I like the camera screen shot but I find it difficult to read the temp info overplayed on the camera picture.

The new app design is terribly confusing, and completely unnecessary. I honestly dont like one thing that was changed. Nothing was wrong with the old app.

Crashes and cannot set up device.
